  • Subscription and payment information (via DodoPayments)

2.2 Analytics Data

When you use our tracking script on your website, we collect:

  • Page views: URLs visited, page paths
  • User interactions: Clicks, custom events

  • Geographic data: Country and city (derived from IP address)
  • Referrer information: Source websites that led visitors to your site

We do NOT collect:

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of your website visitors
  • IP addresses (we only use them to derive country/city, then discard them)

  • Credit card or payment information (handled by DodoPayments)
  • Cookies (we use localStorage for visitor tracking, which is disclosed to your visitors)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our analytics service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send authentication codes and service notifications
  • Improve our service and develop new features
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT:

  • Track users across websites (cross-site tracking)

4. Data Storage and Retention

4.1 Data Retention Periods

We retain data based on your subscription plan:

  • Starter Plan: 7 days
  • Lite Plan: 14 days
  • Growth Plan: 30 days
  • Pro Plan: 60 days
  • Plus/Enterprise: 90 days or custom retention

After the retention period expires, data is automatically deleted. Account information is retained until you delete your account.

4.2 Data Storage Location

Your data is stored in secure databases provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in cloud infrastructure. Supabase may process data in various regions; please refer to their privacy policy for details.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share data only in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
  • DodoPayments: Payment processing
  • Vercel: Application hosting

These service providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

AnalyzeUser uses localStorage (not cookies) to store visitor IDs and session information on your website visitors' browsers. This enables us to:

  • Distinguish new vs. returning visitors
  • Track sessions across page views
  • Maintain visitor identity for analytics purposes

LocalStorage Data:

  • Visitor ID: Stored for 2 years
  • Session ID: Stored for 30 minutes of inactivity

Your Responsibility: If you use our tracking script, you are responsible for:

  • Disclosing localStorage usage in your privacy policy
  • Obtaining consent from visitors (if required by your jurisdiction)
  • Comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws

Note: We do not use cookies for tracking. All tracking data is stored in browser localStorage, which is more privacy-friendly but may still require disclosure depending on your jurisdiction.

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data
